Wellness Wednesday Tip: Take A Nature Break
Simply being in nature is a great way to decompress in the middle of the day. You don't have to retreat to the middle of the mountains--- just find a quiet place outside and sit quietly for a few minutes. Take deep breaths and smell the fresh air. Also, pay attention to the sounds of nature and notice the little things around you. Do your best to let go of any thoughts or concerns that you may have, and give yourself a few minutes to truly relax. Taking a break and getting our body and mind out of our daily routine is a great way to relieve stress and bring a sense of peace and calm to our day.
